Chiropractic Care: Where Natural Healing and Wellness Begins

Your first chiropractic visit is the beginning of your natural healing and improved wellness, and there is no need to be apprehensive about it. Our staff is fully dedicated to making your time with us a time of relaxation and healing! On your first visit, you will be consulting with Dr. Kozma about your health and injuries or pain problems. If you have been in an accident or have chronic pain, you will be discussing the details of the pain or mobility problems you have as a result.

Sometimes, you will have X-rays taken during your initial visit so that Dr. Kozma can get as accurate a diagnosis as possible. You will always get a physical examination on your first visit, with a special emphasis placed upon the parts of your body where you are having the most pain.

In most cases, a spinal adjustment will be the first chiropractic treatment that you receive. This will generally consist of a gentle hands-on manipulation of the spinal column, gently moving a spine that is out of alignment back to its correct place. Spinal adjustment is rarely painful, but is rather a very gentle low force that will generally only feel like a bit of pressure on the back.

During your first visit, we will talk about your ultimate goals for your health and wellness.
